Petra Drakovič was born 13th September 1980 in Maribor. After finishing her secondary school in Maribor, she proceeded with her studies of Biochemistry at the Faculty for Chemistry and Chemistry Technology at the University of Ljubljana. She works as a young researcher at the National Institution of Chemistry in Ljubljana.
Petra is a researcher, traveller, caver, photographer and above all nature-lover. As a member of cave society 'Drutvo ljubiteljev Krine jame' she explores the beauty of mystical underground, and is attracted to the vast blue of the sky and flying at the same time.
Her photographs are published in numerous slovenian and international magazines, and has had many solo and group exhibitions in Slovenia and abroad.
